St. Timothy Lutheran Preschool is an Infant through Pre-Kindergarten Preschool whose mission is to provide an age-appropriate spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical foundation in a caring Christian environment.

Spiritual Development

St. Timothy’s teachers lead the children in mealtime prayers.

Each Friday the Toddlers and Preschool children attend Bible classes taught by St. Timothy’s Associate in Ministry.

Weekly Chapel services provide additional opportunities for singing, praying, and learning about God’s love through Jesus. Our Chapel offerings benefit various charities.

Vacation Bible School fills a week of fun each July.

Intellectual Development

St. Timothy’s teachers provide thematic age-appropriate lessons and activities. Our Toddler through Pre-Kindergarten classes enjoy morning Circle Time every day and attend music class twice a week.

Pre-K students check out books from our school library. They also practice basic computer skills in our dedicated Computer Lab.

Social Development

Our children normally learn and play with same-age peers; but St. Timothy also provides opportunities to socialize with both older and younger students on the playground, at Trunk-or-Treat, and during Fall Festival.

Toddler and Preschool students regularly perform songs, poems, and stories for each other and their families. Our annual Christmas program celebrates the birth of Jesus. Annual “Read Across America” days & spring programs focus on children’s literature. Special events occur on Valentine’s Day, Ash Wednesday, Flag Day, 4th of July, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. Twice each year the preschool sings for Sunday worship.

Physical Development

The play areas provide age-appropriate toys and spaces that foster our students’ large-motor development.

Music classes include movement activities and are scheduled 2 mornings per week.

Webby Dance Class and Play Sports are offered for an additional fee.

St. Timothy’s campus includes three enclosed outdoor play areas:

  • an infant yard
  • a toddler yard
  • and a very large preschool playground
